I create medicine pouches for the use of carrying native medicine such as white sage, sweetgrass, cedar, and / or tobacco. This is what I carry in my medicine pouch. I've known individuals to carry special items that could consist of stones, crystals, shell, photos , and anything that is sacred to you.

I remember as a child, my grandfather and grandmother would carry what I know as bapa wasna. A mixture of dried jerky, raisins, corn meal and tello fats.
